End of Season Presentation 2024/25: A Special Celebration of Our Players, Coaches & Club Legends

On 28th June 2025, Longfield Tigers FC hosted its annual End of Season Presentation at Longfield Academy Sports Hall – and it was another fantastic turnout as players, families, coaches, and supporters came together to celebrate a brilliant season of grassroots football.

This special event gave every team the chance to reflect on their progress, recognise individual achievements, and mark the end of another action-packed season at the club.

  • U11s – Manager: Daniel Pritchard | Coach: Dom Websdale
  • U12s Blue – Manager: Paul Marchant | Coaches: Adam Holford & Jake Cole
  • U12s Red – Manager: Ryan Taylor | Coach: Michael Louth
  • U14s – Manager: Martin Fawn | Coaches: Chris White & Simon Chilvers

Each team presented three key awards on the day:

  • Managers’ Player of the Season
  • Players’ Player of the Season
  • Most Improved Player

A heartfelt thank you goes to every manager, coach, parent, carer, volunteer and sponsor who supports Longfield Tigers week in, week out. Without you, none of this would be possible — from training sessions in the rain to early kick-offs and everything in between. Your continued support helps our players thrive both on and off the pitch.

A Fond Farewell (But Not Goodbye) to Mike Vosper

This year’s presentation also marked an important moment in the club’s history, as Mike Vosper steps down from his role as Club Secretary after over 40 years of outstanding service.

Mike has played a central role in building and running Longfield Tigers FC for decades and remains a hugely respected and valued figure in the club.

While he’s stepping back from day-to-day responsibilities, we’re delighted that Mike will remain involved in an advisory role, supporting and guiding the club’s new secretary, Laura Marchant, who is soon to be formally elected into the role.

To recognise Mike’s exceptional contribution, he was presented with a signed shirt on the night, and a celebratory meal was held in his honour. It was a small gesture to thank someone who has given so much to the club and the community it serves.

Finally, a massive well done to all the players who wore the Longfield Tigers badge with pride this season. Your passion, teamwork, and commitment have been a credit to the club. We can’t wait to see what the 2025/26 season brings!
