Tigers Golf Day – Friday 8th May 2026
We’re proud to announce our annual Tigers Golf Day, taking place on Friday 8th May 2026 at Chelsfield Lakes Golf Club — this year held in memory of Mike Vosper, a true Longfield Tigers legend whose dedication and service to the club will never be forgotten.
This special day brings together players, supporters, parents, and friends of the club for great golf, good company, and an important cause — helping to support Longfield Tigers both on and off the pitch.
Cost: £67 per person
Please note: the course is within the ULEZ zone

07:15 – Coffee/Tea and Bacon Roll
08:30 – 18-Hole Stapleford Competition
• Four-ball teams
• Shotgun start
• Maximum handicap: 28
14:00 – One-course meal
Followed by prize giving, hosted by Ian Brown (Club Chairman)

- Team Winners (best 3 scores from 4 players)

The afternoon will conclude with a raffle and golf day auction.
🎟️ Raising a Little Extra for the Club
Once again, each four-ball will be given three paper tokens, which are passed between players during the round based on:
- Last player to 3-putt
- Last player to lose a ball
- Last player to land in a bunker
If you’re holding one or more tokens at the end of your round, please hand them in with your team scorecard to Paul Day, along with the penalty payment (£5 per token). It’s all part of the fun — and helps raise additional funds for the club.
🎫 Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets will be available to purchase throughout the day from Graham Mersh and Dave Knight. All money raised will go directly towards pitch hire and the payment of match officials, so please support where you can.
⛳ A Few Final Notes
- Please record all scores on one card
- Pick up if you’re unable to score, to help maintain pace of play
- If in doubt, please putt out — the event often finishes very close, and fairness is key
